Landside Market Manager Poland

About the role

The Landside Market Manager Poland is responsible for end‑to‑end performance of landside transport operations, combining product ownership and execution under a single leadership. The role drives profitable growth, safety, service quality and network efficiency across truck and rail modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Own full Landside Poland P&L, including revenue, volume, EBIT and cost‑to‑serve.
• Ensure profitable growth through disciplined commercial, operational and network decisions.
• Maintain safety as a non‑negotiable priority and own service performance and reliability outcomes.
• Guarantee compliance with regulatory, contractual and internal standards.
• Define and execute vendor strategy, drive network productivity and resolve major supplier issues.
• Implement consistent landside ways of working, governance and performance management across NEC countries.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge and experience in landside transport operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage employee lifecycle and drive performance.
• Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for P&L and cost‑to‑serve.
• Capability to balance short‑term delivery with long‑term network sustainability.

Required skills

• Experience managing truck and rail transport modalities.
• Vendor and network management expertise.
• Safety, service and compliance oversight.
