Junior Telecommunications Engineer

About the role

Join Huawei Europe as a Junior Telecommunications Engineer in Warsaw, supporting the installation, commissioning and integration of network and telecommunications equipment. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates eager to develop practical skills in a leading global ICT company.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and integrate network/telecommunications equipment as part of a delivery team.
• Perform pre‑sale verification and acceptance testing of equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems in operator networks.
• Assist with migration of services in operating telecommunications networks.
• Contribute to solutions design using Huawei technologies.

Required profile

• Graduates or final‑year students in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
• Availability to work full‑time (>35 hours/week) onsite in Warsaw.
• Good written and spoken English and Polish.
• Willingness to learn, professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work in a diversified, cross‑culture organization.

Required skills

• Knowledge of at least one core network technology: PS, USC, CS or IMS.
• Familiarity with wireless standards: 2G, 3G, LTE, 5G.
• Understanding of IP networks: TCP/IP, routing, switching.
• Experience with transmission networks: DWDM, optical networks.
• Knowledge of digital power systems: UPS, power plants, photovoltaics, smart lithium batteries for base stations.
