IS Security & Risk Consultant

About the role

ABB is looking for an IS Security & Risk Consultant in Krakow, reporting to the IS Department Manager for Compliance and Risk Advisory. The consultant develops and implements security measures in their area of responsibility, protects the organisation against escalating threats, and keeps track of the existing security infrastructure so that systems protecting vital information stay secure. The work model is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Cater to the information security and compliance needs across the organisation
• Facilitate collaboration and implement a stakeholder engagement and communications plan
• Advise on compliance with ABB information security policies and procedures
• Provide expert consulting and support the implementation of IS SRC requirements across IT assets and business areas
• Ensure support requests are handled according to agreed procedures and guide the definition of access rights and privileges
• Stay up to date with new and emerging information security technologies and industry practices
• Assess ideas for efficiency improvement and value addition, judging them on technological, financial and functional feasibility

Required profile

• Around 7 years of experience in information security
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT discipline
• In-depth understanding of security administration processes
• Fluent English

Required skills

• CISA and/or CISM and/or CRISC certification
• CISSP and ITIL Foundation preferred
