Import Declarant (SAP GTS)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Import Declarant to join our Customs Support Group in Warsaw. The role involves handling import and transit declarations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and supporting customers with their customs needs in a technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents and import/transit declarations using the ATLAS system.
• Calculate import duties, prepare monthly statements and submit customs documents for review.
• Handle customs irregularities, apply for special duties, and cooperate with customs authorities.
• Prepare all necessary customs declarations and formalities for imports and exports in line with legal provisions.
• Respond to customer inquiries and advise on operational customs matters.

Required profile

• Completed commercial training (wholesale and foreign trade clerk or freight forwarding and logistics services clerk) or comparable qualification.
• Solid professional experience in import/export customs declarations and freight forwarding.
• Strong English (minimum B2) and German (minimum B1) language skills.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
