Global SAP PM & Planning & Scheduling SME (f/m)

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is recruiting a Global SAP PM and Planning & Scheduling SME in its Digital Hub in Wrocław, Poland. The role supports the standardization and continuous improvement of maintenance processes across operations, acting as a global subject matter expert for SAP PM and maintenance work management. You will help plants improve planning and scheduling effectiveness, preventive maintenance programs, master data quality and asset reliability, and support the deployment of digital maintenance solutions such as Prometheus MPS.ai.

Key responsibilities

• SAP PM governance: harmonize SAP PM processes across regions, define best-practice workflows for notifications, work orders, maintenance plans, task lists, equipment and functional locations, and set master data quality standards.
• Maintenance work management: implement global standards for planning, scheduling and execution, develop playbooks, templates and training materials, assess performance and promote best practices.
• Preventive maintenance optimization: review and optimize preventive maintenance programs, support risk-based and condition-informed maintenance strategies, and work with reliability teams.
• Prometheus MPS.ai: act as business process expert for rollout and sustainment, ensure integration with SAP PM, deliver user training and post-implementation support.
• Digital maintenance transformation: support the global digital maintenance roadmap, translate operational requirements into process improvements and evaluate new technologies.
• Capability building and plant support: coach planners, supervisors, reliability engineers and maintenance managers, deliver workshops, develop SOPs and guides, and monitor compliance and value realization.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Reliability or Maintenance Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability or maintenance management, with strong hands-on SAP PM experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance master data structures and governance.
• Experience in heavy industry such as cement, aggregates, mining, power generation or manufacturing.
• Fluent English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Prometheus GWOS / MPS.ai or similar planning and scheduling solutions.
• SAP PM key user or functional consultant experience.
• Asset Performance Management (APM) knowledge and familiarity with RCM, FMEA, RCFA and criticality analysis.
• CMRP, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
