Field Service Engineer – Steering Gear and Rudder

About the role

Neuver Maritime is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join its Steering Gear and Rudder team. The role supports customers worldwide through hands-on field work, including service assignments, overhauls, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting and upgrades. It is based in Poland (Gdańsk Metropolitan Area) and requires regular worldwide travel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service assignments, overhauls, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting and upgrades of steering gears and rudders worldwide.
• Collaborate with customers and support engineers at various levels.
• Follow the company's QA and HSE regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of products and services.

Required profile

• Relevant technical education and/or experience in mechanics, hydraulics or electro/automation; practical service experience is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written English.
• Willingness and ability to travel worldwide regularly.
• Self-driven, analytical and methodical, able to take initiative and follow procedures.

Required skills

• Mechanical, hydraulic and/or electro/automation background.
• Service work experience.
