Experienced Finance Team Leader – Managed Services

About the role

Finance Managed Services (FMS) at PwC Poland is expanding rapidly. As an Experienced Team Leader you will oversee a team of 10‑15 accountants delivering AP, AR and GL services, ensuring high performance against SLAs and quality targets for domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations for AP/AR/GL processes, meeting agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Plan and allocate work, optimise resource utilisation and balance workload.
• Set clear targets, track performance, manage risks and escalations.
• Manage and develop team members through regular 1:1s, coaching, goal setting and performance reviews.
• Provide timely feedback and address underperformance when needed.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention in partnership with HR.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Drive consistent application of best practices and standard ways of working.
• Communicate operational status, risks and improvement proposals to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Identify improvement opportunities in processes, tools and automation and support implementation.
• Foster a high‑performing culture aligned with PwC values.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in finance operations (AP/AR/GL) or related accounting processes.
• 3–5+ years of experience leading teams, including performance management and coaching.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and deadline‑management skills in a KPI‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including client interaction.
• University degree in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
