ESG IS Business Analyst

About the role

Join ABB’s Global Automation Data & Analytics team as an ESG IS Business Analyst, bridging technical environments and business needs to enhance sustainability reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and translate business and technical requirements for ESG reporting solutions.
• Coordinate ESG reporting across Automation divisions, Corporate Sustainability, and technical teams.
• Analyze ESG processes, data flows, and dependencies to define functional and data requirements.
• Identify data gaps and process improvement opportunities to strengthen reporting quality.
• Provide structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and support design, testing, and validation of ESG solutions.
• Act as Product Owner for AU Sustainability reporting, managing backlog and priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Sustainability, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting, product ownership or sustainability roles.
• Strong stakeholder communication and ability to work across business, sustainability, and technical teams.
