Engineering Analyst – Mechanical Design (Elbląg, Poland)

About the role

The Engineering Analyst will support the design and development of gas turbine and aero‑engine components, working within the Mechanical Design Team to move concepts through to design freeze and to provide manufacturing and service engineering support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design and quality documentation and layouts using CATIA V5/AutoCAD in line with standards and design rules.
• Define material specifications for steam turbine components.
• Carry out calculations and analyses related to turbine and engine parts.
• Collect, analyse and manage technical data to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Respond to client comments with comprehensive technical answers.
• Participate in internal and external design reviews.
• Support manufacturing and after‑sales activities for component lifetime extension.

Required profile

• Experience in power, energy or industrial application business.
• Familiarity with steam turbine design principles and working mechanisms.
• Knowledge of modern engineering tools, norms and design rules.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, multinational corporation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
