Data Analyst Trainee – Vision Care Internship

About the role

Join Alcon’s Vision Care Data Analyst team as a trainee for a 12‑month full‑time internship. You will support commercial decisions by turning raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build and curate datasets from internal and external sources for strategic decision‑making.
• Analyze sales and purchase patterns across markets and channels.
• Explore price‑sales correlations, including sell‑out price dynamics and elasticity.
• Design Tableau dashboards, machine‑learning models and agentic AI frameworks to automate analysis workflows.
• Visualize insights and present findings to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
