Customs Agent (Declarant) – Sławków

About the role

As a Customs Agent (Declarant) at Customs Support Group you will manage daily customs declarations and compliance for import and export shipments, ensuring they meet Polish and EU regulations. The position involves preparing documents, using automation tools such as Intelligent Document Processing, and supporting the team in knowledge sharing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs declaration documents for standard imports/exports, temporary admissions, and bonded warehousing.
• Control timely submission to the Polish Customs Office and maintain confidentiality of client data.
• Handle source documents from carriers, register deliveries, and manage office filing.
• Accept payments for agency services and prepare cash reports.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise interns in customs procedures.
• Utilise IDP tools to automate extraction and validation of customs data, improving HS‑code classification and valuation accuracy.

Required profile

• Secondary education or higher, preferably in Logistics, International Trade or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a customs agent or in customs brokerage, logistics or transportation.
• Licensed Customs Agent certification in Poland/EU with practical knowledge of Polish customs operations.
• Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• AIS/IMPORT PLUS and ECS/ICS customs software.
• Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) tools.
• HS‑code classification and WTO valuation methods.
• Basic computer skills for customs systems.
