Credit Risk Analyst – German Language (FS Consulting)

About the role

Join PwC Poland’s FS Consulting team as a Credit Risk Analyst supporting the new German‑focused specialist group. You will work on cross‑border projects, collaborate with PwC Germany, and occasionally travel to Frankfurt.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document, and enhance credit risk methodologies (e.g., IFRS 9, AIRB) and models (PD, LGD, EAD, credit scoring).
• Execute model validation, performance assessment, and monitoring projects.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and clear risk measurement insights.
• Review and advise on credit risk governance, policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Cooperate daily with PwC network colleagues, especially PwC Germany.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1) and ability to communicate in German.
• Higher education in mathematics, econometrics, statistics, finance or computer science (completed or near completion).
• Applied knowledge of statistics and credit risk modeling concepts (IFRS 9, AIRB).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using AI tools for automation and analysis.
• Interest in German FS‑Risk practice and willingness to travel to Germany.
• Proactive, problem‑solving attitude and structured, self‑organized work style.
