Compliance Specialist – Deep Dives & Diagnostics (Replacement Contract)

About the role

ing is looking for a Compliance Specialist to join its Deep Dive & Diagnostics team in the CoE Warsaw office. The role is offered as a replacement contract for approximately one year. You will work alongside compliance professionals to help ensure a sound and robust compliance framework for wholesale banking divisions in the EMEA region, including Switzerland, Slovakia, Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, France, Ireland, the UK, the UAE and others.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out thematic and process reviews, focusing on a specific framework or processes within the Wholesale Banking division
• Communicate findings from reviews and other monitoring assignments clearly and actively with stakeholders
• Plan compliance quality assurance priorities together with the business
• Liaise with the business on the compliance monitoring programme
• Perform other related tasks, including taking an active part in Compliance CoE hub activities

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience with compliance monitoring, testing and/or internal audit methodologies, ideally in financial services
• Experience reviewing non-financial risks against a monitoring, testing or audit plan, and owning particular locations while liaising with senior stakeholders
• Self-starter with a hands-on approach, good planning, prioritization and goal-setting skills
• Ability to raise and follow up concerns with the business and to persuade colleagues rather than rely on authority
• Fluent communication in speech and writing, teamwork and responsibility

Required skills

• Knowledge of EU regulations such as MiFID, MAR/MAD, GDPR, DAC6 and AMLD is an advantage
• Project management experience is an advantage
• Experience in banking, supervision of financial institutions, internal/external audit or compliance testing is an advantage

The expected salary is 9,600 to 16,000 PLN.
