Communications Consultant

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Poland seeks a Communications Consultant to enhance the visibility of its programmes. Working from the Warsaw Country Office, you will support public information, awareness‑raising and multimedia production for initiatives related to refugees, migrants and humanitarian assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies that highlight IOM Poland’s activities.
• Create and manage social‑media content, digital campaigns and public‑information materials.
• Produce multimedia products, including photography, video and graphic designs, to support ongoing programmes.
• Collaborate closely with the Media and Communications Officer, the Chief of Mission and programme managers.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of communication outputs.

Required profile

• University degree in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Development Studies or a related field.
• Proven experience in communications, public information or media, including social‑media campaign management.
• Fluency in Korean and English (written and spoken); additional knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is an advantage.
• Familiarity with migration or humanitarian issues is beneficial.

Required skills

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Strong drafting and reporting capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro.
• Experience in graphic design, photography, videography and multimedia content production.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
