Business Expert - International Accounting (Data & Reporting Apps)

About the role

Join our team as a Business Expert – Accounting & Controlling (Data & Reporting Apps). You will support the Finance Key Area by delivering, building and maintaining custom IT solutions for accounting, controlling and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Work in an agile, cross‑functional and international environment on functional and technical requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear concepts, user stories, acceptance criteria and implementation‑ready specifications.
• Use your accounting expertise to discuss requirements with business users and developers.
• Test and evaluate the results of implemented solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in international accounting and/or controlling.
• Basic SQL knowledge and willingness to develop database expertise.
• Financial background in accounting and/or controlling.
• Strong analytical skills with a structured, methodical work approach.
• Ability to handle, analyse and prepare large data volumes.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
