Business Analyst - Accounting Operations

About the role

Join Marsh's accounting operations team in Warsaw, working hybrid with at least three days a week onsite. You will support strategic and tactical finance projects, act as a subject‑matter expert, and liaise between IT, users, and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating strategic documents such as business cases, assessments, communication plans and detailed project plans.
• Work with the Financial Systems team and user groups to prepare rationale for new system implementations.
• Research problems, recommend solutions, and provide tactical analysis for projects.
• Test system enhancements and upgrades, supporting production users.
• Lead small project teams, track tasks, manage issues and provide updates to senior finance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Commercial experience in business analysis, preferably within accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
