Backend Software Engineer (Django)

About the role

As a Backend Software Engineer you will be responsible for server‑side web application logic, working closely with frontend developers to integrate their work with robust and efficient systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality software design and architecture, and design efficient APIs for the front‑end team.
• Write clean, functional, and scalable code for the back‑end of web applications and manage databases.
• Integrate front‑end elements with server‑side logic, coordinating with front‑end developers.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security, addressing technical issues.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to create test strategies, write and execute testing scripts.
• Perform regular updates, improve system functionality and develop new features.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, strong attention to detail and teamwork orientation.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
