Associate Director, Site Management Associates (Homebased Poland)

About the role

Syneos Health is recruiting an Associate Director for Site Management Associates (RWLP) in Poland, working homebased. The role provides expert monitoring strategy, oversight and guidance to internal teams and sponsors, and leads work streams supporting the business unit's clinical operations and strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert monitoring strategy, oversight and guidance, defend the rationale behind it and keep current on industry trends
• Guide and document the decisions needed to implement a high-quality, efficient risk-based monitoring (RBM) solution, working with project management, data management, QA, biostatistics and DOTS
• Assess risks to protocol execution and clinical delivery, track and mitigate risks and issues, and advise on hybrid approaches to new data sources or processes
• Ensure data access for RBM, monitor metrics compliance and contingency plans, and act as escalation point for clinical, central monitoring and project risks
• Lead work streams for new initiatives, ensure SOP/WI compliance and adherence to ICH GCP and local regulations, and support customer relationships and bid defense
• Line management: set goals, delegate tasks, review workload and productivity, manage resourcing, support hiring and retention, ensure training and audit readiness
• Represent the business at conferences, write white papers and support marketing and proposal development

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or RN in a related field, or equivalent education, training and experience; Master's or health data sciences degree preferred
• Expertise in ICH E6 (R2) and risk-based monitoring; experience with sponsors and conflict resolution
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and analytical skills, with therapeutic expertise
• Less than 30% travel for departmental, investigator, training and client meetings and bid defenses
