Accounts Receivable Trainee (German) – Early Careers

About the role

Alcon is looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Trainee who is fluent in German and English to join its Early Careers Program. You will support the finance team by handling customer communications, processing credit‑card transactions, and preparing data for credit committee meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone and email to address inquiries.
• Follow up on credit‑card transactions and maintain related master data.
• Create reports and provide data for periodic credit committee meetings involving global, regional, and local teams.
• Document all customer interactions and ensure timely action on requests.
• Close open items raised by the global COE within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required profile

• Current student status.
• Very good command of English and German.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
