Accounts Receivable Specialist (French)

About the role

Alcon is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who is fluent in French to manage a portfolio of customers in Warsaw. You will work with SAP to ensure timely payment collection, resolve credit issues, and support both local and global finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers using SAP Receivables Management, following up on overdue payments.
• Analyse portfolio aging, highlight concerns, and produce reports for credit committee meetings.
• Review and release blocked orders after credit checks, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintain communication with local stakeholders, customers, and the global COE on credit and cash allocation matters.
• Create and monitor customer disputes, ensuring no overdue cases.
• Support month‑end close activities, including bad‑debt provisions and account reconciliations.
• Provide audit support by gathering required data and documentation.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and French.
• Previous experience in order‑to‑cash (I2C) processes, credit management, cash collection, or customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, project‑oriented environment.
