Treasury Operational Lead

About the role

SOFTSWISS is seeking a Treasury Operational Lead to head its Payments team. You will ensure smooth, reliable payment processing, maintain high operational standards, and support the team in delivering high‑quality treasury services at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Payments team and act as the primary operational contact.
• Monitor payment flows, guaranteeing timely and accurate execution of all transactions, including high‑priority items.
• Oversee SLA compliance, performance metrics, and processing quality across the function.
• Manage workload distribution, prioritisation, and operational coordination within the team.
• Analyse payment routes and recommend optimal payment solutions and legal entities.
• Produce operational reports on volumes, error rates, and team performance.
• Coordinate with banks, payment providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure business continuity.
• Lead incident management, root‑cause analysis, and corrective‑action implementation.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and onboarding processes.
• Conduct regular reconciliations across payment systems, accounting records, and merchant reports.
• Drive process improvements through automation and workflow optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading payments, treasury, or financial operations teams.
• Strong understanding of payment operations, banking processes, and operational risk management.
• Experience managing KPIs, reporting, and service‑quality standards.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Hands‑on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting systems such as 1C or similar.
