Trade Operations Specialist – Brokerage Management

About the role

The Trade Operations Specialist – Brokerage Management will support a key global client in the daily execution of customs and brokerage activities. Working within the Global Trade Advisory & Solutions team, you will coordinate with customs brokers, client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of customs declarations.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily execution and monitoring of customs brokerage activities.
• Follow up with customs brokers and client stakeholders on open actions, operational topics and issues.
• Monitor broker performance, operational KPIs and customs‑related data.
• Identify missing information, delays or discrepancies and ensure appropriate follow‑up.
• Escalate operational issues when required and assist in their resolution.
• Maintain operational trackers, reports and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee agreed actions are completed accurately and on time.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and optimisation of brokerage management processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, logistics or a similar operational environment.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and changing priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned activities.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Interest in developing further knowledge of customs, brokerage management and international trade.
• Reliable, structured and solution‑oriented approach while working under pressure.
