Tariff & Customs Classification Specialist

About the role

As a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist you will ensure Bosch Group’s compliance with international trade regulations and help classify goods for foreign‑trade purposes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tariff and customs classification of Bosch’s product portfolio across multiple national tariff schemes and, when required, export‑control classification.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international stakeholders to gather technical information and documentation for accurate classification.
• Work with global foreign‑trade teams in several countries, communicating fluently in English.
• Monitor evolving foreign‑trade regulations in many jurisdictions to keep classifications up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business, engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of tariff and customs classification processes.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Advanced English proficiency; German is a plus.
