Support Teacher

About the role

The Support Teacher will work within Einstein Primary School to assess individual student needs, develop and implement tailored support plans, and deliver direct instruction. Collaborating closely with classroom teachers, the role aligns with ISP’s commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous learning, contributing to a safe and respectful learning environment. All candidates will undergo thorough vetting, including background checks and reference verification.

Key responsibilities

• Assess student needs and create individualized support plans.
• Provide direct instruction and ongoing support to students.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum and teaching methods.
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress.
• Maintain confidential records in accordance with data protection policies.

Required profile

• Degree in special education or a related field.
• Experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) support.

• Strong expertise in special education and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized support plans.
