Ships Agency Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Ships Agency Operator to join our Ship Agency team in Gdansk. You will support vessel operations both in the office and at the ports of Gdansk and Gdynia, ensuring smooth port calls for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel operations according to shipowners’ requirements and company procedures.
• Handle vessels in port and support crews during port calls.
• Cooperate with customers, terminals, port authorities, and Wilhelmsen teams in Poland and abroad.
• Ensure timely execution of vessel operations and monitor operational costs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and work with operational systems to report activities.
• Respond to unexpected situations and provide practical solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in a shipping agency or vessel operations (preferred).
• Good understanding of the port environment.
• Category B driving licence.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
• Ability to work independently and perform well under time pressure.
• Responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks.
• Strong relationship‑building skills.
• Knowledge of port and customs procedures is an advantage.
