Senior General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Arrow is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join its Finance team in Gdańsk (or Kraków). The role involves managing complex accounting, statutory reporting and tax compliance for UK legal entities while supporting month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Control and prepare VAT, Intrastat and sales‑list reporting, including submission of VAT returns.
• Prepare corporate tax returns in cooperation with internal tax team and external consultants.
• Maintain accuracy of the General Ledger for assigned Arrow entities and perform statutory accounting entries.
• Execute statutory and corporate reconciliations, European consolidation and support audit activities.
• Provide variance analysis and support other accountants on finance department tasks.

Required profile

• Solid experience in General Ledger / Record‑to‑Report accounting.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounting, VAT processes and financial controls.
• Advanced English (C1) and ability to work independently across multiple priorities.
