Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (f/m)

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is recruiting a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for its Digital Hub in Wrocław. You will work on an application that collects and distributes sensor data from production plants and provides local reporting and overview for them. The first months focus on understanding the solution, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reliable operation, before contributing to its future development and modernization.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, reliable code and act as a technical role model within the team
• Convert design drafts, mockups and textual descriptions into working UIs and applications
• Advocate consistency and best practices in code and architecture, following internal guidelines
• Work with stakeholders, product owners and colleagues from different technical backgrounds to deliver high-quality solutions
• Map business processes to data models or algorithms
• Use AI in daily software development to improve productivity, speed up delivery and improve solution quality

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Python
• 3+ years of experience with frontend technologies such as TypeScript, Angular or React
• 3+ years of experience with Grafana and Apache eCharts
• Experience developing industrial/IIoT applications and maintaining and refactoring critical legacy systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Relational databases (Postgres, Microsoft SQL or similar)
• Elastic Stack (Elastic Search)
• Ansible and GitLab
• CI/CD, automated E2E testing, TDD, Docker
• Beneficial: MQTT, HTTP REST, JDBC, OPC UA/DA/XDA, Node-Red, Azure IIoT services, IIoT and industrial automation knowledge
