Senior Full Stack (Java/React) Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Full‑Stack Developer with strong Java and React expertise to join an investment‑banking client’s AI‑enabled platform team in Krakow. The team uses modern AI‑assisted tools, follows agile practices, and delivers high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain back‑end services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and relational databases.
• Build responsive, high‑performance front‑end applications with React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Integrate generative AI features, including prompt engineering and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Define and consume RESTful APIs, and collaborate across QA, product, architecture and business teams.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and improve engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience, including long‑term projects.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java 11+, Spring / Spring Boot, React and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to deliver full‑stack features end‑to‑end and work with AI‑coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and agile teamwork skills.
