Senior BI Developer (Freelance)

About the role

PwC Poland’s Digital&IPA team is seeking a Senior BI Developer on a freelance basis. You will join a group of product design, business intelligence and data science experts to create cutting‑edge digital solutions for a variety of clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop the visual layer of analytics and BI applications using Power BI.
• Translate business problems into data‑driven insights that support tactical and strategic decisions.
• Conduct workshops with clients to gather business requirements, define metrics and specify data sources.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure seamless integration of data models.
• Maintain high standards of data visualization, information design and aesthetic quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization or analytics.
• Strong command of English for international engagements.
• Proven ability to work directly with clients and deliver consulting‑oriented solutions.

Required skills

• Power BI (including DAX and Power Query)
• SQL and data modeling
• ETL tools such as Alteryx
• Python for data manipulation
• Data visualization and information design best practices
• Familiarity with Fabric, Power Platform (Power Apps) and Tableau
• Basic knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs)
