Senior Anaplan Developer / Architect (Freelance)

About the role

Join PwC's Finance of the Future team as a Senior EPM (Anaplan) Developer/Architect on a freelance basis. You will work on large‑scale transformation programs, helping leading clients in Poland and abroad redesign their planning, budgeting and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support enterprise‑scale EPM transformation initiatives with a focus on Anaplan implementations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to finance, controlling and business stakeholders.
• Gather requirements, analyse business processes and design target‑state solutions for planning and reporting.
• Translate business needs into scalable Anaplan models and solution architecture.
• Design and build planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario models in Anaplan.
• Collaborate with international project teams and client management across multiple geographies.
• Contribute to solution‑architecture decisions, including data flows, model design and performance optimisation.
• Support testing, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement of implemented solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, demos and presentations for delivery and pre‑sales purposes.

Required profile

• Solid experience in Anaplan implementations or other EPM tools, preferably in consulting or project‑based environments.
• Proven background as a Senior Developer/Consultant with exposure to solution‑architect responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes (financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting).
• Hands‑on experience designing and building complex, multi‑dimensional Anaplan models.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into structured, scalable system solutions.
• Experience working directly with clients and facilitating workshops or solution discussions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Fluency in English.
