RF Hardware Engineer – Hands‑On Development

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on RF Hardware Engineer to lead the physical build of radio‑electronic devices for a Miltech/Defense client in Warsaw. You will take RF and microwave modules from concept through prototype, performing soldering, assembly, tuning and lab testing on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Design, assemble and solder experimental RF boards, including SMD, BGA and RF connector integration.
• Build test setups, run measurements with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and signal generators, and tune RF paths to meet specifications.
• Source, select and procure RF components, connectors and materials, creating complete BOMs.
• Collaborate closely with PCB designers and firmware engineers throughout the development cycle.

Required profile

• Technical degree in radio engineering, radiophysics, electronics or telecommunications.
• Minimum 4 years of experience developing, assembling, debugging and testing RF/microwave hardware.
• Proficient English for working communication.

Required skills

• SMD and BGA soldering, RF connector and cable assembly.
• Use of lab equipment: vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators and power meters.
• Measurement and interpretation of S‑parameters, gain, noise figure, P1dB, VSWR and phase noise.
• Familiarity with RF component distributors (DigiKey, Mouser, Farnell, Arrow) and ability to generate independent BOMs.
