Regional Program Manager Mobile – 2‑Year Deployment

About the role

The American Red Cross seeks a mission‑driven Regional Program Manager to lead Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) programs across U.S. military installations in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe for a 24‑month term‑limited assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Red Cross services to military members, veterans and families, including Emergency Communication, Hero Care, and Restoring Family Links.
• Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, supervision and recognition to support program delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with military leadership, command staff and installation partners through briefings, outreach and community events.
• Monitor service outcomes, produce reports, identify trends and recommend program improvements.
• Maintain deployment readiness, complete required medical, security and training certifications, and support surge operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, social sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of program‑management experience.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations and protocol is strongly desired.
• Ability to work on military bases, follow base policies and operate in austere environments.
