Property & Engineering Lines Underwriter

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage underwriting for mid-sized and large corporate and industrial clients.
• Conduct risk analysis, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and renew insurance contracts in line with local and group standards.
• Implement and manage insurance contracts for domestic and international business.
• Monitor market trends and emerging risks, adapting strategies to maintain competitiveness.
• Collaborate closely with Risk Engineering, Sales, and Claims teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Property and/or Engineering Lines underwriting for mid-sized or industrial corporate insurance.
• Proven track record in managing profitable portfolios and strategic initiatives.
• Deep understanding of Property and Engineering insurance markets, products, and regulations.
• University degree in Business, Finance, or related field; professional insurance qualifications preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Proactive, independent, customer‑focused, and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written); German is an advantage.
