Portfolio Operations Analyst – Material Create & Extend

About the role

As a Portfolio Operations Analyst in the Transportation & Electronics Business Group, you will support Material Create & Extend (MCE) and Phase‑in Phase‑out (PIPO) projects across multiple product verticals. You will work closely with global and area portfolio marketers to ensure projects are scoped, scheduled and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Material Create and Extension requests following established processes, timelines and business priorities.
• Apply knowledge of end‑to‑end material creation, master data governance and setup requirements.
• Escalate issues, potential delays or process blockers promptly to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate across functions and stakeholders to drive actions and meet project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with data quality standards and global governance requirements.
• Troubleshoot workflow delays and initiate resolution activities.
• Support organizational changes and assist with transition of activities within the team.
• Provide backup support to team members to maintain business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
• Work experience in supply chain, manufacturing, marketing or master data management.
• Professional knowledge of materials, including processes, technical requirements and cycle times.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• SAP experience.
• Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of Global Material Create and Extension (Global MCE), SharePoint, Horizon, Salesforce and Microsoft 365 tools.
