Polish Teacher – High School

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Polish Teacher for our high‑school programme at the American School of Wrocław. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Polish language instruction, support student wellbeing and collaborate closely with the academic and psychology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and email lesson plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator in advance.
• Prepare and organise teaching materials and maintain a decorated, resource‑rich classroom.
• Enter grades promptly, design monthly assessments and grade all assigned work.
• Record daily attendance and manage homework boards every two weeks.
• Supervise playground duties and participate in parent meetings, school events and community projects.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioural or special‑needs issues.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops and institutional trainings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably at secondary level.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking) and proficient in Polish.
• Strong organisational, planning and analytical abilities; able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools, particularly intermediate‑level Microsoft Office.
