Mid/Senior IBM Integration Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled IBM Integration Specialist at a Mid or Senior level to join an international banking and financial services project. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and supporting an enterprise integration platform for a major German financial organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain integrations between business systems and enterprise applications.
• Create, configure and support message flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise / IBM Message Broker.
• Work with IBM MQ – manage queues, channels, messages and troubleshoot flow issues.
• Create and maintain data transformation maps in IBM Sterling Transformation Extender.
• Integrate systems using various message formats, interfaces and data exchange standards.
• Analyse integration errors, logs and messages to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Support changes across development, testing and production environments, including containerised deployments on Kubernetes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with IBM integration technologies (App Connect, Message Broker, MQ, Sterling).
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and contribute to platform stability.
• Experience in a distributed, international team and collaboration with application owners, infrastructure and service delivery stakeholders.
• Goal‑driven mindset and strong problem‑solving skills.
