Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the role

Johnson Electric is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Będzin to help shape efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations. The role drives process improvements, applies Lean Manufacturing principles and works with international teams to deliver operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain process documentation: work instructions, process control plans, PFMEA, calculations, bills of materials and process descriptions.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and performance.
• Take part in developing and continuously improving production tooling and equipment.
• Implement and promote Kaizen principles such as SSP, 6S, ergonomics, standardization and visual management.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to ensure compatibility with existing processes, and interpret process stability and quality data to solve day-to-day technical issues.
• Supervise production trials after process changes, prepare reports and support the development and assembly of new product prototypes.
• Drive initiatives to reduce production costs and improve product quality, train employees on manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
• At least two years of experience in a similar or related position.
• Good command of English, including technical terminology, for working in an international environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactivity and teamwork.

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing tools such as SMED, 6S and TPM.
• Understanding of APQP, PPAP, MSA and PFMEA.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949.
• 3D design software and reading of technical drawings.
• Microsoft Office 365.
