Manager, Acceptance Key Verticals Enablement

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager to lead Acceptance Key Verticals Enablement in Europe. The role focuses on embedding and optimizing Mastercard card‑based payment solutions across key verticals such as telecom, utilities, education, government and rent, driving adoption and growth in the EUR ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional Go‑to‑Market strategy to increase Mastercard solution adoption and spend share in key verticals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target markets, product fit and customer needs.
• Own the product sales pipeline with Acceptance Enablement teams and collaborate with Customer Solution Centers, market development and account teams.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives with internal product teams, acceptance enablement, and divisional stakeholders to keep the ecosystem informed and engaged.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on the acceptance ecosystem, shaping executive and customer narratives.
• Define KPIs, track product performance and sales metrics, and deliver insights for future improvements.

Required profile

• Deep experience and knowledge of the acceptance ecosystem and key vertical players (telecom, insurance, rent, education, government).
• Proven track record of launching and scaling products in competitive markets.
• Strategic thinking with strong problem‑solving abilities and product management ownership.
• Innovation mindset and ability to tackle complex industry challenges.
• Strong leadership, project management and communication skills.
