Lead Software Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Software Engineer you will define and drive technical direction for a focused product or platform area, solving complex engineering challenges while mentoring the team and shaping long‑term system quality and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy high‑performance, secure, and scalable applications across the full software lifecycle.
• Architect and evolve distributed cloud‑native systems with emphasis on resilience, observability and efficient operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, high‑quality releases.
• Collaborate on API design, integration patterns and service‑to‑service communication.
• Lead hands‑on code reviews, design walkthroughs and architectural discussions to raise engineering standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems at scale.
• Strong expertise in C# and comfortable with object‑oriented and functional patterns.
• Experience with Python for automation or data workflows.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Spark SQL, PostgreSQL and core data‑engineering patterns.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, containers, dev‑containers and infrastructure‑as‑code.
