About the role

The Elevator Maintenance Technician will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing passenger elevators in accordance with KONE’s service agreements, technical guidelines and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all service tasks required by service contracts, company policies and KONE processes.
• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs of passenger elevators following technical specifications.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.
• Conduct technical inspections and ensure proper operation of elevator systems.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with clients, providing professional advice and support.
• Collaborate with the service team and other departments to optimise service activities.
• Ensure safety during work and comply with occupational health and safety standards.

Required profile

• UDT Category I licence for close‑transport equipment (passenger elevators).
• SEP licence up to 1 kV.
• Technical education, preferably as an electrical technician or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in elevator maintenance and repair.
• Self‑reliant, responsible and able to organise work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with customers.

Required skills

• UDT Category I licence for elevator maintenance.
• SEP licence up to 1 kV.
• Electrical technician qualification.
