Junior Noise Engineer

About the role

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction is looking for a Junior Noise Engineer to support acoustic analysis for industrial projects. You will work under experienced engineers, gaining hands‑on experience with noise modelling, measurement and mitigation in a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform acoustic calculations (dB, dB(A)) and assess sound pressure level (SPL) and sound power level (SWL) for projects.
• Apply ISO 9613 standards to predict noise propagation and ISO 3744 for on‑site noise measurements.
• Support the design of noise silencers, acoustic enclosures and other mitigation solutions.

Required profile

• Studying Acoustic Engineering (preferably final‑year students).
• Fluent communication in English.
• Interest in gaining practical experience in an international organization.

Required skills

• Knowledge of acoustic calculation methods and noise level concepts.
• Familiarity with ISO 9613 and ISO 3744 standards.
• Experience with noise measurement for industrial plants (preferred).
• Understanding of noise silencers, acoustic enclosures and related hardware.
• Proficiency with noise propagation software such as CadnaA or similar tools.
