Junior / Mid IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Junior/Mid IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to join a law‑firm client of Directio. The role involves day‑to‑day administration, maintenance and development of the company’s IT environment, ensuring stability, security and continuous availability.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IT systems, servers, infrastructure and network environment.
• Manage Linux‑based systems and services ensuring stability, availability and performance.
• Monitor infrastructure, applications and services, proactively identifying issues and responding to incidents.
• Troubleshoot technical problems related to systems, servers, networks, applications and user environments.
• Provide IT and technical support to users, including hardware, software, access and system issues.
• Support implementation, configuration, maintenance and development of internal IT services and applications.
• Handle backup and recovery processes, system updates, patching and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
• Contribute to infrastructure and system security, including access management, system hardening and monitoring.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as configurations, procedures and incident records.
• Cooperate with external vendors and technology partners when required.

Required profile

• Professional experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure or technical support.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux system administration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues.
• Good understanding of backup, recovery, updates and patching processes.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices, including access management and hardening.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical users.
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently and take ownership of the environment.
• Proficient command of English.
