IT Systems & Automation Engineer

About the role

As an IT Systems & Automation Engineer you will ensure the reliability, modernization and automated operation of critical enterprise systems and data‑lifecycle infrastructure for Bosch worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Administer multi‑tier enterprise environments including Windows Server, Oracle/SQL databases and data‑lifecycle platforms.
• Design, script and automate routine operational tasks and maintenance workflows.
• Set up and onboard new systems, automated workflows and archiving processes.
• Maintain existing infrastructure with regular patching, upgrades and hardening.
• Serve as the final internal escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance and service availability and report to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Solid background working with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with web/application servers such as Apache Tomcat and Microsoft IIS.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an automation‑first mindset.
