IT Compliance and Risk Specialist

About the role

Hitachi Energy Poland is looking for an IT Compliance and Risk Specialist in Krakow to join one of its Business Units. You will help define, implement and continuously improve the IT Risk Management strategy, keeping the framework aligned with industry best practice, regulatory requirements and organisational goals, and promote a risk-aware culture across the IT organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk analysis, business impact analysis and coordinate risk assessments
• Identify, qualify and prioritise IT risks, and analyse, measure and monitor them to support treatment decisions
• Support the definition, implementation and maintenance of the IT Risk Management process framework
• Develop and lead training to raise IT risk awareness among stakeholders
• Take part in effectiveness measurements and help close gaps in content or process
• Build a network with key stakeholders to align compliance and risk activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT, with strong expertise in IT Risk Management, IT Compliance, Information Security, Audit or related areas
• Experience in risk assessments, control evaluations, audit support and remediation is a plus
• Spoken and written English required

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills, working across global and cross-functional teams
