Instrumentation Engineer – Analyzer Specialist

About the role

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction seeks an Instrumentation Engineer specialized in process analyzers to join its Engineering Europe Department in Kraków. You will be involved from proposal through delivery and start‑up, ensuring precise and reliable process measurements for hydrogen production, CO₂ capture and other projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and specify primary and secondary sampling conditioning systems, analyzer hook‑ups and engineering data sheets.
• Manage technical requisitions, bidding, purchase orders and vendor drawing validation for analyzer packages.
• Coordinate detailed design activities, verify documentation against Air Liquide E&C standards and support inspections.
• Collaborate with R&D on novel analytical solutions and contribute to updating E&C standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing process analytics in refinery or petrochemical environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively in a multicultural team.
• Fluent English; Polish is a plus and eligibility to work in Poland.

Required skills

• Knowledge of analyzer technologies: NDIR, paramagnetic, gas chromatography (FID, TCD), CEMS, mass spectrometry, IR spectroscopy.
• Experience with pH, conductivity, moisture, dew‑point and density measurement systems.
• Expertise in sampling conditioning, sample transportation and analyzer house specifications.
