Import Declarant – Customs Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Import Declarant to work in a dynamic, international, and technology‑driven environment. The role ensures smooth and compliant customs operations while embracing the latest digital customs solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create shipping documents and import/transit declarations via ATLAS.
• Calculate import duties and prepare monthly statements.
• Co‑operate with customs, submit documents for review, and handle customs irregularities.
• Prepare all necessary customs declarations and formalities for imports and exports in line with customs and tax law.
• Prepare order instructions for import/export transactions and coordinate with operational departments.
• Respond to customer inquiries and advise on operational customs matters.

Required profile

• Completed commercial training as a wholesale/foreign trade clerk or comparable qualification.
• Solid professional experience in import/export customs declarations and freight forwarding.
• Strong English (minimum B2) and German (minimum B1) language skills.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Residency in Poland.
