GRC Operations Team Lead (German) – Managed Services

About the role

PWC is seeking a GRC Operations Team Lead fluent in German to drive internal‑control initiatives within its Managed Services Operations. You will work across PwC’s international network, guiding multi‑location teams and delivering end‑to‑end control testing for business and IT processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal‑control workstreams, including design effectiveness assessments, walkthroughs, and operating‑effectiveness testing.
• Manage day‑to‑day delivery, task allocation, quality reviews and knowledge sharing across geographically dispersed teams.
• Act as primary contact for client stakeholders in German and English, presenting results and facilitating risk‑control discussions.
• Support remediation and deficiency management, helping clients embed sustainable, risk‑by‑design improvements.
• Identify emerging risks and technology‑driven control needs, contributing to the evolution of PwC’s service offering.
• Assist sales and business‑development activities, including proposal preparation and scoping for automation, AI‑enabled testing and continuous monitoring.
• Coach junior team members and build capability pathways toward managerial roles.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal control testing or internal audit.
• Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, IT or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with strong ownership and delivery focus.
