Global Spot Pricing Analyst - Air Freight

About the role

Maersk is looking for a commercially driven and analytical Global Spot Pricing Analyst to join its Air Freight team. Reporting to the Global Head of Customer Rate & Pricing based in Belgium, the role delivers competitive and timely air freight pricing solutions that support customer growth and business profitability. It works closely with airlines, customers, sales teams and operations to secure and convert spot opportunities across global markets. The position is open to candidates based in Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia or Greece.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to air freight spot quote requests from customers and sales teams.
• Develop competitive pricing solutions aligned with commercial guidelines and market conditions.
• Collaborate with operations and gateway teams to design tailored solutions for strategic and complex opportunities.
• Support sales teams with pricing strategies that drive customer growth and profitability.
• Ensure timely, accurate and customer-focused responses to pricing requests.
• Build strong relationships with airline partners and internal stakeholders across regions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing processes and performance.

Required profile

• Experience in Air Freight Pricing, Air Freight Operations, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Procurement or a similar commercial role.
• Good understanding of air freight products, airline pricing, routing and market dynamics.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Preferred: experience with spot quotations within freight forwarding or airlines, knowledge of carrier management, procurement or pricing processes, and experience in an international or matrix organisation.
