Global Mobility Expert

About the role

As a Global Mobility Expert you will deliver end‑to‑end operational support for international assignment cases within Zurich’s Shared Services model. Working closely with the Global Mobility Centre of Excellence and global stakeholders, you will coordinate case administration, ensure compliance and maintain high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support to Global Mobility Business Partners across assigned mobility activities.
• Manage day‑to‑day communication and ensure accurate, timely execution of tasks.
• Prepare cost estimates, compensation calculations and assignment documentation.
• Initiate and coordinate external vendors (tax, relocation, payroll, insurance) and follow up on service delivery.
• Validate payroll inputs for mobile employees and support accurate payroll processing.
• Support re‑charge and invoicing processes, including cost validation with Finance.
• Maintain accurate assignment data in Mobility systems, ensuring data quality and audit readiness.
• Prepare reports, trackers and case updates for operational monitoring.
• Identify and escalate risks, delays or inconsistencies in case execution.
• Contribute to process improvement and standardisation within Global Mobility operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services or Global Mobility.
• Experience with expatriate tax, immigration, payroll and relocation processes.
• Ability to work with local HR, Payroll, Finance, Compensation and external providers.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
