Freelance DevOps Engineer – Digital & IPA

About the role

PwC Poland’s Digital&IPA team is looking for a freelance DevOps Engineer to help design, build and operate modern development pipelines for a range of financial‑sector projects. You will work closely with software engineers to ensure reliable, secure and automated delivery of applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Integrate AI‑driven workflows into the release process to improve efficiency.
• Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions with Terraform or Bicep based on project needs.
• Identify technical issues, create fixes and support ongoing platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with developers to align tooling with established processes and quality standards.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and container orchestration with Kubernetes (including Helm and Ingress).
• Proficiency in building scalable, automated pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Practical experience with Terraform (or Bicep) and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of networking, security protocols and patch management (subnets, firewalls, DNS, TLS/SSL, etc.).
